Tea Time

Last in our series with recipe blogger
Adrianna Adarme of A Cozy Kitchen, she gives calming
chamomile tea a Modern-Muse inspired kick.

The connection between fragrance and memory is undeniable. One whiff of a familiar scent can make the past come alive in sparkling detail. As Adrianna Adarme, the blogger behind recipe site A Cozy Kitchen, worked on this last cocktail for us in our series about Modern Muse, she channeled her childhood rituals around chamomile tea to create a sensorial experience as captivating as the fragrance.

“I love the delicate flavor of chamomile tea,” Adarme explains. “It reminds me of being a kid and having a warm mug before bed. This is a bit of an adult version, with lemon, honey and sweetness from the bourbon and sugar.” As is the essence of Modern Muse, this cocktail is all about a study in contrasts, balancing the strength of bourbon with the delicacy of chamomile tea. Read on, sip and relax.
